TO BOOK AND STAY AT VUOLLERIM CAMPING


Welcome to Vuollerim! We would like to inform you about the rules that apply when you book and / or stay at the campsite. Here are answers to the most important questions.

GENERAL


You and the host can agree on the terms of the stay.
Unless a special agreement has been reached, the rules set out below apply - as well as those that are internationally accepted. Some accommodations apply conditions other than the general ones for arrival and departure as well as payment and cancellation. Vuollerim camping's own conditions apply provided that you have been notified of this in connection with the booking. Therefore, be sure to take note of the information you receive when booking. Special rules apply to conferences and other events.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION


A booking is binding once it has been confirmed. This can be done orally or in writing, e.g. via e-mail. You and the campsite have thus reached an agreement. However, there is some possibility of cancellation - see section "Cancellation and no-show". When ordering, you are obliged to state your name, address, time of arrival and departure and how payment is to be made.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE


Your camping booking is at your disposal no later than 3 PM the day of arrival. On the day of departure you must leave no later than 11 AM, unless otherwise agreed.

LATE ARRIVAL

The place is reserved for arrival no later than 6 PM. If you expect to arrive later, you must notify the host in advance so as not to risk the place being rented out to another guest.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOWS

The following rules apply to cancellation:
  • Cancellation must be made no later than 18.00 the day before arrival. If you are absent without cancellation or cancel later than kl. 18.00 so you have to pay for a day.
  • If the hotel has had special costs due to your booking, you will be liable for these.

DEPARTURE BEFORE THE END OF THE AGREED TIME

If you have booked for a specific period of time but leave before the end of this period, you must pay the same compensation as for late cancellation. This means that in addition to the price for the time you have stayed at the hotel, you will pay for one extra day.

STAY FOR AN UNDETERMINED TIME

If you stay at the campsite for an undetermined period and extend your stay by one day at a time, you should notify your departure no later than 6 PM the day before you travel. Otherwise you have to pay for an extra day.
If the campsite can no longer let you dispose of the site or the cottage, you have to be notified no later than 6 PM the day before departure.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CAMPSITE

If the camping cannot provide you with the accommodation that was agreed upon at time of booking, you have the right to get an equivalent or better accommodation of an equivalent standard at no extra cost.

PERSONAL REQUESTS


ADAPTATIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES

Nowadays many lodging businesses have adapted parts of the premises for guests with disabilities. Specify the requirements when you book, and you are sure that the camping is properly equipped and can prepare your arrival in the best way.

SMOKING OUTSIDE ONLY

Vuollerim Camping has only non-smoking cottages and houses. In case of violation of the smoking ban, the campsite has the right to charge the customer the cost of washing textiles, any repainting and cleaning, etc.

PETS

If you want to bring a pet, let us know when you book the room. There are cabins available that allow pets.

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

If you need any special technical equipment, you should notify this well in advance of arrival. This way your wishes can be met as best as possible.

If you have special requests regarding food (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.), please inform us about it at the time of booking.

BOOKING FEE AND ADVANCE PAYMENT


The host reserves the right to request a booking fee or other advance payment in order for your booking to be binding. This amount is deducted from the final bill. If you cancel the room without taking into account the cancellation deadline, the host is entitled to keep the booking fee / advance payment.

PAYMENT

The main rule is that the hotel bill must be paid when you receive it, nowadays usually on arrival at the hotel.
In some cases, the accommodation is invoiced and then the specified latest date for payment applies. When invoicing, an administrative invoicing fee will be added. In the event of delay in payment, default interest will also be added.

CREDIT CARDS, CHECKS, SWISH AND COUPONS

Payment is due at check-in at Hotel Vuollerim and can be made with the most common credit cards, swish or cash. However, the hotel is not obliged to accept checks, coupons or foreign currency if the hotel has not offered to do so. It is therefore wise to find out in advance what applies. INTEREST ON LATE PAYMENT

If you are late with payment, the campsite is entitled to penalty interest.

REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN HOTEL GUESTS

According to the Aliens Ordinance act, those who run hotels must ensure that foreign hotel guests provide certain information prescribed by the National Police Board on a self-signed registration form. The foreign hotel guest must prove their identity with a valid identification document. These rules are based on the Schengen Agreement within the EU.

STORAGE OF VALUES AND LUGGAGE


STORAGE

You are responsible for your own valuables. Talk to the reception about requests for storage of valuables and luggage. Upon arrival and departure, do not leave luggage unattended in the lobby. The hotel usually has the option of storing your luggage in a luggage room. The hotel is only responsible for your property if it is stored in a space locked by the hotel, such as a luggage compartment.

VALUABLE PROPERTY

If your property is of unusually high value, you are obliged to inform the hotel of this when you hand in your luggage or other property to the hotel for storage. The hotel and campsite have no obligation to store property of high value and are liable for the full value of the property only if they have agreed to be responsible for it.

RIGHT TO KEEP LUGGAGE

By law, the hotel and campsite have the right, as security for a claim against a guest, to retain luggage and in some cases, according to established rules, also to sell it.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY / THEFT IN HOTEL ROOMS


The hotel and campsite have no strict responsibility for the property you keep in your accommodation. However, should it turn out that the hotel or hotel staff has acted negligently or is otherwise at fault for the loss of property, the hotel is responsible for the lost / stolen property.

YOUR OWN SAFETY

You should always find out where emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers are located. If you discover defects in safety measures, please report this to the reception immediately.
