Norrvik, just outside of Vuollerim on the other side of the Big Lule River, was founded as early as 1797 by Baron Hermelin. In Norrvik, there has been a school that was located on a hill overlooking the river that rushed past. At present, one of the neighbors of that old school is Vuollerims Ridklubb, an active association for horse enthusiasts of all ages. A riding club with their own horses, stables for private horses, lessons and the opportunity to book riding experiences. Riding in the midnight sun or sliding on skis behind a horse in a sparkling winter forest landscape will be a memory for life!
