Hotel vuollerim @ THE POLAR CIRCLE IN laplands inland
Hotel Vuollerim was built in the late 1950s and was run privately until the 70s when the military took over and the building was used as a military base. In the autumn of 2006, the hotel was bought back to the village by a newly formed Bygdebolag (Village-owned-company) which at present has 186 partners - private individuals, associations and companies.
The hotel has 15 double rooms, two en-suites (with private toilet and shower) and the others with a private toilet in the room and a shared shower in the corridor.

There is a large parking lot, with space for buses as well. The use of electrical outlets to plug in your engine heater can be booked at the reception

UNIQUELY DECORATED ROOMS
No two rooms are alike in this hotel. The rooms have all been renovated by dedicated villagers who have chosen colors, wallpaper and other interior details. With small means and great creativity, they have designed unique and personal rooms, named after the villages around Vuollerim - such as "Polar Night in Porsi" and "Morning in Messaure".
The hotel is centrally located in Vuollerim overlooking the Little Lule River. A perfect location to enjoy the Midnight Sun or Northern Lights depending on the season. Revel in the tranquility and the magnificent view from the outdoor terrace by the barbecue area, or take a walk in the surroundings. Walking paths and snowmobile trails are right at the hotel junction.
